Why can’t they make cheap super cars?

Agustina Stimmel: The very definition of a supercar is why. Super cars are generally excessive in every way. Huge power, very wide or low or long (or any combination thereof), and incredibly unpractical. They are usually hand-made of exotic materials in limited quantities. This level of craftsmanship is what makes them so expensive. With that said, prices are relative. If you could afford to spend $200k on a car in a year and not sweat it, I'm sure you would do it too. I pe! rsonally know someone who buys a brand new Porsche every year just because she can. Last year it was a $167,000 911 GT3 RS. Then again, she made in excess of $200,000 just in the month of January, and that was her lowest check in 10 years.
