Elvie Drumgoole: Definitely will NOT work as the car computer is built and programmed specifically to run a car, while a home comp. is much too large, and knows very little about running cars.
Charissa Bichsel: Yes it will. A home computer has 10 times the computing power as even the most complex car computer. Just get an inverter and plug the computer into it.

Stephnie Patout: First, get a second opinion. It's been my experience that most vehicle computers are replaced as a last resort, when the actual problem eludes their diagnosis.
