Although they won't see themselves as failures - they are sure that the next bet will be the big win they have been dreaming of. There is nothing wrong with gambling now and then if done responsibly. Assuming it's legal in the country you live in and are of legal age to do so. If you can keep it within boundaries and accept defeat when the realistic budget you set for yourself is gone, than why not. If you have the money and you decide to go gambling instead of going out dancing and drinking at the club, which can be quite pricey, have at it. A night out at a casino can be incredibly fun.
