drink, drank, drunk.....?

Moira Woodrow: Leafy green vegetables are good. Spinach, kale, lettuce, endive, leaf lettuce..etc. Along with greens, there is liver. Oh gawly, did I just say LIVER? Horrors. Some folks don't like liver at all, but if you do have a taste for it, liver will deliver a lot of iron. Be sure not to over consume iron. Like any supplement, it can have an adverse effect if you take more than you need, or as prescribed by your doctor.

Sunshine Holets: Your blood sugar is probably low, leading to nausea and headaches, etc. Eat something easy that is protein, like maybe a scrambled egg on toast, with water (plenty of water to help wash the alcohol out of your system). Protein of some sort should help.

Corey Rohleder: when i was on irion pills they told me to take them with orange juice and not to drink milk 2 hours before and after good luck

Cherlyn Tefera:

Joeann Hoyt: pepto mismol/and aspirin in a powder form.I forget the name for it but they sell it tha! t way at the drug store.one hour you ll be fine.another way to get rid of a hangover is to have one drink, your body will start to get ready do drink again and the pain will go away.

Hye Caulley: Try coating your stomach before you drink with milk or Pumpkin seed oil. You can by the tablets at GNC or any Health Food Store.

Hugo Pittari: HOME REMEDIES FOR ANEMIA * Coffee, tea and ingesting antacids, should be avoided because they decrease iron absorption. Sources rich in iron are lean beef, lean pork, skinned poultry, shellfish, fish, liver, organ meats, egg yolks, pinto, kidney, lima, navy, chick peas, black-eyed peas, lentils, split peas, green peas, spinach, kale, collards, beet greens, chard, broccoli, raisins, prunes, figs, dates, dried peaches, dried apricots, nuts, peanut butter, whole grain breads. * Licavoli says that when you use a cast-iron skillet instead of Teflon coated or aluminum one, you increase the iron content of foods, particularly when ! you cook acidic foods like tomato sauce. * Take 1 Cup beetr! oot juice, 1 cup of apple juice, mixed with either sugar or honey once a day to prevent anemia. * To help prevent iron-deficiency anemia in infants, all doctors should recommend breastfeeding, according to Los Angeles pediatrician Paul M. Fleiss, M.D., a pediatrician, lecturer at the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Public Health and assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at the University of Southern California School of Medicine. ''Breast milk supplies almost all the nutrients your baby needs,'' he says. * Take a ripe banana with 1 tbsp of honey 2 times a day to treat anemia. * Our body absorbs iron from meats easier than fruits and vegetables. To increase the absorption of iron from fruits and vegetables, eat them with a good source of vitamin C. * Soak 10 currants overnight. Remove seeds and take it for 3-4 weeks in the morning. * A mixture of apple and tomato juice also helps to fight against the anemia. * Eating a lot of salad als! o helps to prevent anemia. * Honey is very good for an anemic person because it helps increase the hemoglobin in the blood. It is rich in iron, copper and manganese. * Intake of vitamin C is very important for the absorption of iron. It is recommended to take two any citrus fruits daily. * Beets are very important in the cure of anemia. Its juice contains potassium, phosphorus, calcium, sulphur, iodine, iron, copper, carbohydrates, protein, fat, and vitamins B1, B2, B6, C and P. * A cold-water bath is an easy method in curing anemia. Two baths are recommended daily. Sunbaths are also beneficial as sunlight stimulates the production of red cells. * 3-4 dried figs are recommended a day to prevent anemia. * Deep breathing and light exercise like walking also helps in increasing the red blood cell in the body and thus treats the anemia. * Various yoga asanas like sarvangasana, paschomittanasana, uttanpadasana and shavasana are also beneficial * Do not ea! t spinach, rhubarb, tomatoes, or chocolate. These foods are high in oxa! lic acid, a substance that decreases the ability of our body to absorb iron. other iron blockers are sodas, dairy products, coffee and black tea. Avoid cow's milk, which can cause hidden bleeding in the intestinal tract. Do not follow fad diets....Show more

Keven Drumgole: hey im anemic too, you have to eat a lot of spinach and meat

Whitley Leopold: I take iron supplementations too! i'm anemic, thankfully its no longer something substantial. I in simple terms crave ice while i'm low on iron. which does no longer ensue anymore because of the fact I take a million iron pill each and on a daily basis. Iron pills do no longer generally reason you to income weight yet you ought to take them with nutrition and without different drugs for it to soak up wisely. do no longer forget that it could make you constipated so eating fruit like prunes will help. i think of your physique gets used to it over the years even with the undeniable fact that because of the fact after a! pproximately 3 years I no longer had to eat greater fruit....Show more

Vernita Robberson: If you are looking for an immediate relief; I would go to Pizza Hut and order a medium hawaiian (pinapple and ham) with a laerg Mountain Dew. Also might consider going to Wienerschnitzel and getting 3 chili cheese dogs with the Dew. It's not super-healthy, but the combo seems to lessen the effects of the hangover. Beyond that, you could be out of commission and need to sleep it off with a couple of naps throughout the day. ONE MORE piece of advice: Remember to take Vitamin b12 and b6 before going to bed on a bad drunk. Keep them in your purse if you are sleeping over or at a hotel, etc. Hope this all helps (I have some experience LOL)...Show more

Lizzette Wendroth: Try sweet tea or range juice , .

Rolanda Merritt: Black Strap molasses has a very high iron content. You might only need one or two teaspoons a day. Canned fish with bones, like sardines are an excellent so! urce of iron. So are dark green leafy veggies. Spinach, bok choy, green! s, dark green lettuce ( not iceberg!). Certain dried fruits( almonds, raisins, apricots, prunes,...) and nuts are also a good choice. It's a shame that you gave up the day before Easter to recover from a hangover.. when you could have had a nice night without the alcohol. Why didn't you drink in moderation? What's done is done. If you take an aspirin before you get drunk it helps with the head aches because it thins the blood and the alcohol causes your arteries to contract giving you a head banger. Have you a drink now and in 15 min. you'll feel fine....Show more

Tomatoes, baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, lettuce, pretzels by Herr's with different seeds in them, oatmeal raisin cookies with enriched flour, other foods, most of them veggies and dark green. Nelly Kikuchi: It sounds like you may also be suffering from an! xiety and/or panic attacks. Often, depression and anxiety come together. Panic attacks are caused by high levels of anxiety and can make you short of breath and dizzy, give you a stomach ache and make your palms sweaty, among other symptoms. Everyone is different. It's a good idea to get checked out if you're experiencing panic attacks. It would suck if you brushed off the symptoms as panic attacks when they were actually something more serious. On the other hand, it gives you peace of mind to know you're actually okay.I've been dealing with both for a long time. The best thing I ever did was talk to a counsellor; she gave me some work books and information to help me through it. Smoking also wouldn't help....Show more
