NYU's Childhood Education Program...?

Kelly Bistodeau: I even have not got any concept relating to the regulation in TX, even regardless of the ordinary actuality that I prepare kindergarten in MI and infants entering into preschool systems could desire to be 4 years historic via capacity of way of December a million of the academic 3 hundred and sixty 5 days they are entering into, and 5 years historic via capacity of way of December a million for kindergarten. choose for it helps!!

Sharie Sommerville: Special Education is generally narrowed down to three different grade levels (at least in Ohio) it's K-3, K-6 and K-12. It's going to be a good idea to get your K-6 because it covers the most grade levels. Unfortunately, you won't be able to teach high schoolers with this license. However, if you pursue a secondary education (7-12) in a specific content area (math, science, social studies, English) you'll be more qualified and should have no problem getting a job in either area. As a special education! teacher you'll be teaching these subjects to your students anyways, so you should save yourself some time and get all your undergraduate work out of the way. Another positive is that if you get tired of teaching special education, you can become a general education high school teacher with your 7-12 certificate and teach the area or areas you pick to focus on.
