Renato Abatiell: Yes, but do you have a reason for asking?Plant whatever you like together as long as the plants need the same sun and water needs. Mike
Jade Ohno: You have much better control over the soil balance this way. I plant flowers in the ground, but do veggies in containers for this reason. It also helps in controlling insects, and if you plant before first frost you can move them into the garage. Be sure your pots have good drainage and water the plants frequently, especially in the week or two after planting.
Madlyn Fallis: did a square foot garden once consisting of 9, 1sq ft sections. it had legs so it wasnt on the ground for the animals to get in. worked pretty good.
Jesse Pirieda: Yes I have a whole bunch of container gardens in my backyard..it is way too small for a real garden so I have all kinds of herbs and tomatoes...you have to make sure you use a bit of charcoal in the bottom then a layer of small rocks to catch the water and let ! it drain and good soil...wet it all down before you plant and after you plant..I love our gardens...you can find lots of ideas and how to's on hgtv.com or diynetwork.com hope it helps.
Lionel Tanen: We have a "in ground" garden, Plus we have a small area that is set up as a container garden. For things that don't grow that well in our soil. Tehy work great if you have a small area, Or don't have the tools to make a large "in ground" garden. Plus there good for people who are just learning how to care for plants. I wish you luck with this.
