Sammy Tabatt: No, I didn't have any classes like that, but my son did have a little bit of instruction in high school. It was an optional class called "Adult Living" or something like that. They briefly covered finances, but the majority of the class was about job interviews, pregnancy prevention, healthy eating, home repairs - a wide variety of things that young adults could be facing in the near future. In my opinion they need to spend more time teaching about personal finance because most young people don't have a clue what they are doing and in some cases their parents are not the best role models and don't really teach them anything....Show more
