Where are the animation programs?

Coleman Coscia: Create Stunning 3D Animations : http://3dAnimationCartoons.com/?xhYn

Mercedez Trabue: I have been playing around with blender for the past year and I like it quite well. It has a very good document base, although it is a little outdated in some parts. It is also free for comercial use!! Hope this helps

Kaylee Schmittou: Animation and Vector Drawing which is commonly used in logos can both be difficult. There are several GOOD animation programs out there --but they take time to learn how to use. Maya 3D and 3D Studio Max both have trial version -- i don't know what they are called -- which are available for free. Blender IS free. And is as powerful, as it was originally the in-house animation package of an Amsterdam-based studio. When dealing with Youtube Adobe products are of course useful. So I will mention Illustrator and whatever that other package is. They came up with flvI hate illustrator. I learned on Freehand, which they distribu! te and therefore it's moribund, and the interface is JUST different enough so every time I say it's time to get to work on it, I get disgusted fast. As an Open Source kinda guy (with limits -- I've been peripherally involved in printing for about 35 year and respect printing standards enough so I'm disgusted with FOSS's dismissal of them as proprietary) I LO-OVE Inkscape. The interface is very direct. I look at it and say, "Engineers designed this and these were engineers who know how to talk to people." When I work on it, I find that it's actually a little broader in the layout tasks it can achieve. I've done professional work with it -- even passing some off as illustrator. So give it a try:http://www.inkscape.orgWhy am I boosting it and mentioning illustrator? Both implement, imperfectly, the svg file format. Svg, like gif, allow for some animation. I don't know that you can put svg animations into a youtube video but you can certainly save frames in a format you! can turn into something you can upload. As for free program, s! ome people think Pencil is too crude. I get good results from it. I have one word for synfig: DON'T. It's badly-implemented vector drawing with badly implemented animation on top of it.There are plenty of great programs out there. Both freed and paid. But logo animation is a matter of work. You just have to do it, and that isn't that easy....Show more
