answers 0:Bipolars- did you notice dental problems later on after being medicated?answers 1:I notice serequel has a side effect of dry mouth; i only recently went off it but not in time- now i lost 1 perm tooth and there is more garbage down the road to take care of- i know it also also partly my diet, etc, but i am sure that didnt helpanswers 2:Yes.I have had more cavities and 2 root canals and 1 tooth fell out since I have been medicated.You think it would be on the warning labels before they give these out!answers 3:I've been diagnosed with bipolar for 10 years, and taking medication for all 10 of them, and I haven't noticed any more problems with my teeth than usual. This is, most likely, because I've always had bad teeth, runs in the family.I believe that ! diet and dental hygiene will have more effect on your teeth than your medication, but I could be wrong. All I know is nobody I know, including myself, have not suffered MORE dental problems since being medicated....answers 4:Our very best friend James, who was Bipolar.Took new medication developed dental problems, until he received new medication. Then it was not as severe as before.
