Faustino Mellerson: Typically, chicks dig poetry--alot.
Travis Sherrock: high quality poetry shows intelligence, creativity, and emotional intensity. those are acceptable issues in a mate. undesirable poetry, on the different hand, can teach a loss of aesthetic sense, and detrimental self-assessment. in case you study any poetry, you ought to understand this is not in basic terms alluring to women folk. despite the fact that, i'm a woman and do unlike Shakespeare's poetry lots.
Tracy Huesso: umm...take it slow to begin with. theres no real right or wrong to relationships, every couple is different. if you really like each other you should enjoy each others company no matter what your doing.
Rona Espalin: aww that is really sweet. I would love it if a guy wrote poetry about me (again) haha yeah i've had my share.but I really do like it. your brother is 17. how old are you?=] definitely show it to her
Virgilio Echter: awwww thats sweet poetry is ! not corney or silly is sweet and we like it
Corey Rohleder: Hmm ... I'm not sure.Do you know her well and do you know that she likes you?If you're not sure, don't share it with her just yet. Maybe get to know her better first and find out if she's the romantic type - then you can dazzle her with your poetry! But it might scare off a girl who you don't really know that well yet.If I really liked a guy and we were getting on great and we both liked eachother, then I'd think it was really sweet and would be flattered. Good luck!...Show more
Wilburn Denice: stop being a PUSSY
Felipa Nosis: I think it depends on the poem and the poet. The "roses are red, violets are blue..." types are a bit lame and don't seem to express any emotion. In the main, with romantic poetry, avoid stupid rhyming stuff as that doesn't seem to be serious and defeats the whole purpose of writing the poem. Also, if you're not really the poetry type, it can seem strange to write a girl a po! em... So basically if you're going to write a poem write somet! hing romantic (but not gooey) that doesn't rhyme like a cheap joke....Show more
Lue Podewils: I am not a woman, but I have been a poet for thirty years, been published and have in my experience learned that women for the most part love poetry as an expression of true feelings and if the poem is about them they are both flattered and enamored by it. But there are a few out there that think it shows weakness in a man. I think this is BS as any man that is secure enough in his manhood to not only write poetry but to share it with out worrying about what others think is a REAL man. Good luck to you, and keep putting your heart and soul in words....Show more
Ermelinda Stalnaker: When a guy writes me poetry it makes me think he does this for every girl. ANd he's just trying to get in my pants.
Marcel Then: I really dont want to sound like a asshole and the last thing I want is to hurt her feelings. Its my first girlfriend and im just overall confused on how is e! verything supposed to work. I sorta like her and I like being around her shes a really nice person and she likes me for myself. Its all new and yeah I may be worried about what other people think at school and everything but give me a break I really dont want to hurt her feelings. What do I do?
Bettye Arre: i notice that i tell myself that i wouldn't make the same mistakes in future because i learned from the past and in the new one i make the same mistake again and again... and it just not me i notices this with my friend. they consistently make the same mistakes. for example they fall in love to fast, give in, take in the mother role, meet jerks, meet uneducated men ( no college degree even worse no high school diploma), come off to strong aka head strong, a little too sexual...Show more
Garry Ohmen: its really sweet to write poetry, and most girls love it :) hope i helped
Collin Barter: aww that is so sweet we love Poetry about us.. Don't listen to your! brother.
Stanton Valdivia: AAWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!! thts lik da sweete! st thng! read it to her she'll LOVE it i promise
Sheldon Lally: I've been played by three girls so far. One girl told me she liked me, I decided to give her a shot, we hung out for a week, then she told me she didn't like me. It pissed me off but I guess I'm on her good side, even though she's on my bad side and honestly, I'd backstab her at any given time (figuratively obviously), I wouldn't mind or care if something bad happened to her, in fact if I heard it I'd laugh. For example if someone got her pregnant, I'd say the ***** deserves to have her life and future ruined and never have a career. Then there was this girl who kept flirting with me, she's from an old town I used to live in. I decided to give her a shot, I go to hang out with her. The next day she gets a boyfriend. I didn't know until a week later because I didn't talk to her for a week. One week passed, I look her up on Facebook, and unsurprisingly she got a new boyfriend. I was like "What the hell? You! played me, this isn't cool. I'm so upset now thanks whore." She said "I'm not a whore". I said "Yes you are because you played me.", she said "Because you're not my type.", damn what the f***. Then most recently I dated a girl who cheated on me with this guy, a week after we started dating she dumped me, then started going out with that guy. I was so pissed, I was like what the ****. The guy didn't even care that he caused her to cheat. I asked him about it and he was like "And I'll tell you why", which he didn't. She claims to him that I was a bad boyfriend, even though I wasn't. At least, that's what I assume she was saying. I'm a bad boyfriend even though I didn't do anything wrong to her. We never argued. Nothing. She's a w*ore. Even her own friends say that. The guy she's really in love with says he hates her, she's cheating on her new bf. Honestly I believe she deserves to suffer, along with the other girls. The question is, why am I so angry? I constantly think abou! t what they did to me every day. It hurts sometimes, then I think about! the fact no one likes me. People in my own league hate me somehow, the popular kids are more nice to me than them. It's ridiculous. One girl hates me for no reason, actually it's only ever the girls in my social clique who don't like me. At least, if I have a social clique. People know I'm a loner in school. Always been that way. Stupid? Maybe. Idk. I always tell myself no one loves me, because it's true. Society has proven it. Idk what to do. I feel like no one loves me, I try to change it (without being desperate) but nothing works. when I finally feel like I've found someone who will understand me, they end up forsaking and abandoning me. Please help? Where does my anger come from? How can I fix this? I just wanna know why girls always play me...? It hurts knowing I'll never be truly loved. I sometimes think of committing suicide to escape the pain, but never can go through with it....Show more
Luther Plagmann: Will tell yourself.....no more! We just fall into p! atterns and maybe lack self estem in ourselfs and don't think we deserve better....BUT WE DO! So before you start to hang out or date someone get to know them first....what are their life goals.....and make sure they are in college...or forget it. Good luck!
Davida Gisriel: hell yea even if it's corny then she wouldn't care!!! you know how many men actually write poems? like 5!!no one has probably EVER given her a poem, and that would be the absolute best thing that probably happened to her in the relationship areado i swear if you don't you will regret iteven if she has a boyfriend do it, she WILL break up with him, at least i would!!DO IT!...Show more
Catheryn Small: AWWW!!!!Well, does she like u? And, if she does....READ IT 2 HER!!!AWWWWW...!!!
Jesusita Dykhoff: Well it honestly depends on the girl. If she's into literature, poetry, romance and that kind of thing then she'll probably really dig it, but don't show her your entire notebook or anythin! g...maybe just one or two, and tell her that she inspires you! Or you c! ould always leave her a rose or something like that, with a short and simple one (perhaps a line or two from something you've written already) and see how she takes it. Don't overwhelm her with it...she might get a little freaked about that :]...Show more
Heidi Creselious: poetry is way hot
Inell Riesgo: Check out this audio if you are in a quiet place with headphones when you get the chance. This might help.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWC3rsyW3JA
Dexter Dingus: stay good friends so things dont get awkward now just because your dating. if youre comfortable then hold her hand or put your arm around her when youre walking thru the halls. also, if youd like then give her a hug at the end of the day... but dont do any of these if you two arent okay with it... but just be there for her for any problems she may have. try to be her best friend and things will go good :)Good Luck!...Show more
Dexter Dingus: Poetry is a good way to express one's feelings.! The difference between a poem and a story, in my opinion, is that poetry contains more intense feelings--almost confessional. I love it when a guy can write poetry and tell me how he feels inside. I think you should--your brother's not the emotional/romantic type of person I take it?
Rachell Meese: be ursefl! ! ! ! most inportant.dont rush into kissing her.u dont need to buy her **** (when i was younger xD i tryed to make my bf buy me a bunch of ****. . i was stuck up. . . . and stupid)dont get to cuddly or mushy. (unless she is. then i dont think she woould care)(uhm. . . . make sure u dont make her feel fat. and make sure u watch what you say. bcuz girls at youngish ages get offended real easy =] LOL!)just be urself. anddont try and rush into sex =]...Show more
Randall Twehous: Uhmm, it really depends on what she's like.Does she like poetry?I probably wouldn't be a fan of a guy giving me poetry about myself, unless I was in love with him.
Basil Blasinga! me: I think when a man write poetry for a woman, it is sincereyly sweet! and romantic.Definitely show her your work!Just make sure you two actually talk first, and than she knows you're interested. It might come off as creepy if you randomly approach this girl who doesn't know you, and show her a bunch of poems you've written about her....Show more
Heidy Fujikake: poetry blows.
Tamatha Neubaum: When my BF (now my ex) used to write me poems I loved them. That's so sweet that you want to share them with her, but what I would do if I were you, don't give them to her unless you two are going out, because if she doesn't like you, who knows what will happen.
